Over 100 students from 8 schools participated in our Conservation Poster contest this year.  The contest is open to 5th graders.   Claudia Duncan from St Wendel placed 1st, Lindsey Koester from St Wendel placed 2nd and 3rd place was Katelyn Pirtle from Tekoppel Elementary.  These three will be entered into the state contest and recognized at our annual meeting in February.  They also received a monetary prize. All participating students received a certificate and education materials on Forestry.  Look for the announcement of 2012 contest in the fall.  CLAUDIA DUNCAN WON THE STATE CONTEST; CONGRATULATIONS!
